Did I calibrate my LC-1/XD-16 right?
How can I tell if I did my calibration correctly.
I installed it yesterday, drove it around.
Today after coming home from work, I let the car chill for about an hour.
Took out the wideband O2 sensor, pressed the botton on my XD-16 3 times, saw the word "CAL" flashing. Then I put back the sensor.
I heard I was suppose to wait for some sort of countdown but I didn't see any.

It shows what should be actual AFR, but numbers seem kinda off unless I am running very very rich.

I will have to check later on, I work all day today and probably won't be able to till tomorrow.
But it seems like my AFRs while driving are different every time.
So if I remove the O2 sensor and turn the car on, the guage should be at 20.9?

Like when I first started it this morning, it was giving me a really lean reading like 18/19s.
While cruising sometimes it was in the 13s and other times in the 15s. WOT I would be in mid to low 10s. It just seems that my AFR is always changing, nothing would be constant.

yeah that's why you need to tune it
If you have been out driving and the engine is at full temp, with the car sitting still, rev in neutral to about 2500 and hold it there. It should bounce around 14.7ish... maybe like 14.4-15.2 depending on how your wideband updates.

Yea I been holding off for too long
So after doing that, lets say it is in the 14.4-15.2 AFR, for a stock tune.
Would that tell me its calibrated right?
Tonite on the way home from work, I just cruizing at a constant speed it was low 12s then when I came to the light right before my house, at idle it was at high 11s.

No I haven't done anything to it yet at all. Just hooked up the lc1 and gauge.
I don't want to start tuning until I fix things, I have a feeling there are a few problems that need to be fixed.

If the car isn't in open loop and those AFRs are real, you have a problem I have never seen or heard of. What does the NB voltage say in the same spot? They should be switching like mad revved up like that.

Not sure, but after the gym I cranked up the car after sitting for 2 hours.
At first it was really lean like 18-19 AFR at idle and after driving for a few minutes and letting the car warm up, cruising was back to low 12s

Well I just got off the phone with innovate. I guess the calibration was completly wrong thank god.
Will try to fix it and then update.
