    Diablo Tuner

I've read the thread on handhelds and I'm considering the Diablo Tuner. I'm not looking to do major tunes beyond deleting rear 02s etc, it'll be more of a diagnosis tool especially as my local garage here in the UK is highly unlikely to be equipped to read any fault codes that may occur.

Has anyone here had experience with the Diablo that they'd like to share? Good or bad, all input will be most welcome.

    Thanks

    Mike.

I think the newer Diablo handhelds don't allow you to disable the rear o2s. Besides that, there isn't a whole lot of tuning you can do with a handheld. I think PaJeff has one that he uses for some diagnostics.

No you cant delete the O2s. But you can change a little stuff. The canned tunes dont do much at all. Install the diablo tune. Dial in the fuel trims and you will wake it up a little. Better throttle feel. The good thing is the custom tunes are cheap from lew. Like 125 bucks.
With a custom tune from him he can delete the O2s and do a whole lot more. And yes the diagnostic features are good. Search ebay and get one cheap.

That's a real shame, I'm looking for something that will delete rear o2s and the AIR system straight out of the box. I also want one that is easily available to me in the UK.

    Any recommendations ?

You'd have to find an old version of the Diablo tuner. I don't think any of the new handhelds disable the emission stuff.
Your other options are tuning software for a laptop (HPtuners or EFILive). Or a mail order tune from Frost. He's a sponsor here.
