    Computer (ECU?) swap

    can a dyno tuned computer (ECU?) from a 2002 WS6 auto be swapped into a 2002 WS6 6spd successfuly without any problems? thanks

    The OS's are different, though I suppose fuel and timing tables could be copied over into a new file, but if it's cammed, idle needs will change and require retuning. You'd want tuning for that tranny too rather than OEM tables.

    the first car had long tubes, underdrive pulley, 160 thermostat, slp intake, and high flow cats. nothing crazy like heads or cam

    the second car is stock at the moment.

    Why would you want to move the tune to a different setup with different needs?

    No it won't go in there and work without further tuning in the PCM. Even if would, the setups still aren't the same, so fuel and spark requirements would be different.
