i have a check engine light on in my '04 sierra the scanner gives me a trouble code of p0430 can anyone tell me what that code is?

Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2. Usually means the cat took a dump (passenger side). Take a look at it for any discoloration from overheating, rattle, exhaust leak near the sensors, check wiring/connector for any damage. On F-bodies some people swap the rear 02's side to side, clear the codes, then see if the code moves to bank 1 throwing P0420. If it does it's the sensor, if P0430 returns it verifies a problem with the cat. Hope this helps and welcome to the board.
