clearing o2 code

well, when I chop my cat out, it will throw a code right?

can autozone clear codes, or just pull the numbers? if I take it to a dealer, and have it cleared, how long before it pops up again?

will a snap-on scan tool hook up to my car? its an OBD-1 canthat clear codes?

you can clear the code but it will be back on in a few miles again. The only way to keep the light from coming on is to either find somebody that has some sims for sale or have the rear O2s turned off in the pcm. Having them turned off is the best way but you need tuning software like EFI Live or HP tuners. I used to have some sims but I sold them after I got EFI Live

I didn't notice that you had an LT1 so EFI Live and HP tuners will not work for that car. So you need sims or take it to a tuner to have them turned off.

I took a look under my car.

I dont even have an 02 sensor after the cat. its an obd-I car. so, I guess I dont have anything to worry about! I wont throw a code!

good deal. yea i had tow LT1 cars that I pulled the cats from and it never did throw a code. They were both OBD1 cars

well i have am obd2 ls1 z28, and i plan on puttin on long tubes and an x-pipe with no cats and mufflers, and i know it will throw up a code, so where can i get the o2 eliminators from?
