    Exhasut leak maybe

The catalyst monitor d-agnostic and is sensitive to several conditions,
    -exhaust leake
    -HO2s contamination
    -alternative fuels
In the exhasut system leaks may cause the following
-prevent a degraded catalyst from failing the diagnostic also a failure for a normally functioning catalyst and prevent the diagnostic from running.

But somewhere in the exhaust is causing the diagnostic from running that would be my quess. That may be what you are seeing

I'm guessing it's a p0420 or p0430 code? Could just simply be you have a bad cat.
