    Correct.

There are two ways to do this.

    1 - get O2 simulators
2 - have the PCM tuned

O2 sensors work by sending a voltage signal to the PCM. If that voltage signal is incorrect, the PCM will recognize this and show a SES light. Both methods listed above correct for this.

Tuning would be the best route to go as many people have issues with O2 simulators.

If you plan on having the car tuned because of mods you have made anyway, that would be an opportune time to have the rear 02's tuned out.

if your car is automatic you will benefit more from doing a tune like the ones that tunedbyfrost does.

Dont waste your time with O2 sensor bypass devices,,,they dont last or dont work for long,,IMHO..

Get them tuned out,,I have gone thru many sets of o2 simm bypassers and must say they are built like dudu,

I've got O2 dopes on the rear sensors of my 2002TA. The only issue I've got with them is that in cold weather, the computer thinks the front sensors aren't woking because they're cold and the "rear" are hot. Throws a MIL & codes. My biggest issue with this is that I can't get past my NY state Inspection. If I tune out the rear O2 sensors will I be able to pass NYSI???

I don't have cats and I passed with a tune. There is no visual inspection in Indiana though.
