Let the battery die in my 02 Z28, put a new battery in and now it will not pass inspection due to the computer sending out codes. Put 350 miles on and still no luck. Can anyone help.

what codes are you getting? If there is a problem the codes are not going to disapear until the problem get fixed.

^^ This. We need to know the codes that are popping. Some are soft and will reset after so many starts and/or warm up cycles so long as the condition is not repeated. Some can also be cleared by disconnecting the battery for a period of time. Other codes are hard and need to be cleared with a scan tool.

The abs, brake, oil change, and traction controll lights come on, but not all the time. Tried the scanner and didnt pick any codes up. I was told that the car needs to put on some mileage for the computer to cycle. Anyone hear of this befor?

You need a brake code scanner for those. A standard OBDII scanner can not read brake codes. The oil change light may simply need reset. Best guess is that you have a wheel speed sensor on the fritz or damaged wiring.
