bung placement for wide band 02

where's the best spot for bung placement for wide band 02?

The innovate vids. install right at the LT collector I read that this will heat up the 02 sensor to much and shorten it's life also using only one sensor only reads half the motor.

I was thinking after the Y-pipe maybe the I-pipe and run the wire though the rear set belt hole.

looking for any recomendations.

They were right; collector is best. Avoid 5-7 O'clock positions.

They don't really have any over heating issues in an N/A car... they have a heater in their own tip. Reading one bank is fine; you can't control left/right fueling.

OK souds like the 3:00 postion then run the wire though the floor.

I know there's a hole in the pass. side floor is there also one on the driver side?

and is how you usally run the wire inside the car thought the driver side?

seams to me it would be better to have the controller inside away from moisture and rocks ect.

All of mine are portable.

When I used an LC1 back in the day, the controller portion was under my hood.

While we are on the wideband topic -- how about a recommendation for an A/F gauge with an output? Are any of the 2-1/4" pod mountable gauges worth looking into?

I just received my Kooks LT's and made sure to get the set with an extra bung in the collector. Interestingly, they are installed side-by-side and not too far apart from one another. Not sure if this would instill an error as the exhaust gases flow around the first sensor? They seem awful close.

I'm anxious to see how good the tune is.

?if the tune is excellent the needle will stay at 12 o clock position correct? or will it constantly bounce around like that turd of a narrow band I had (that thing drove me nuts.

I'm planning on running the wire though the driver floor gromet keeping controller inside.

bung placed 10" backstream of LT collector.

any install tips are welcome.

you're gauge is gonna bounce around because that's how O2's work...when you go WOT it should settle down and stay steady.
