Best way to learn tuning
I will bu purchasing HP tuners in about a month, I have absolutley no experience with tuning and dont know anybody who does. I live in a rather rural area so help is har d to find. I would really like to learn how to tune and be proficent at it, how did you professional tuners start out? Just looking for some pointers to a young guy from the more experienced.

Read, read, and then read some more - few good books out there and the HP Tuners forum has lots out there
When you get stumped HP Tuners forum, along with this one and Tech are good places to either find a similar question already answered or post anew
I've been researching since last December and finally getting to the dangerous point(ie think I have an idea of what I am doing )

R&D and alot of seat time is how most learned
This is a good place to start though http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14425
The guide to a good tuning experience is basically what I would've done if I could start over again.
