    autotap scanner vs hp scanner

I'm going to buy one of these scan tools but I'm not sure which one
to buy. The hp would run about $50 more than the autotap if I get
the enhanced version of autotap. I don't think I want to buy the tuning suite
because I figure it would just give me a headache.

I can only speak for the HP Tuners scanner. It is an intuitive and powerful scan tool.

Spend the extra $50 and have full tuning capability too. Thats a no brainer.
I'm probably the most computer illiterate person on the planet but I bought it anyway. I figure if I'm going to own 2 of these vehicles I need to be able to diagnose and work on them, and tuning was part of that.
It's the first thing I bought for the cars before I even turned a wrench on them.
I'm still learning after more than a year of messing with it and still haven't tapped into all it's capabilities. But I'd do it all over again.
