Will a hypertec take care of the rear 02 sensors on a ory if the simms are used?

Not sure what you're asking - if you're using 02 sims on the rears the PCM doesn't need them turned off, and won't affect performance.

No. HyperTech units can not help with the O2 codes/errors.
O2 sims will. They simply trick the system into thinkin' everything is fine.
There are O2 sensors before the cats & after the cats. They just compare signals to make sure the cats are doing therir job.

    Hypertec tuner

I,m having some work done & was told that afterwards they needed to reprogram computer. Knock sensors, headers-ory, clutch. They said they were using a hypertec programmer.

The hypertech on a 99 will only do a few things-changing the fuel trims--adjusting the timing at specific points--not gonna happen with the hypertech---all their performance stuff is just a generic global tiny change---not specific at all--about all you can do is tire sizes--axle ratio-fan settings-shift firmness (somewhat) shift points (somewhat) *****With your mods you prob don't need it a all**********the rear 02 simms take care of themslves when installed--don't require programming---

    02 simms

Thanks for the info, I canceled the programmer and used the cash for a new set of ngk t55 plugs and a set of msd 8.5 super conductor wires. Might as well have them do that while the exhaust is off. The car has 62,000 on it now.
