    99 Firebird Formula

    wow loving the 4.10s

    Installed them this morning, they are killer. I have the torsen rear end and I didn't need a paddle kit, didn't need to grind anything to get the paddle back in. Lucky me I guess!!

    Drove it right to the track afterwards. It cut some serious time off of my 1/8th mile. Launching is so easy now....I sixty footed 1.9X's all night with a 1.92 best. This is on street tires...not sure why everyone says you 'need' drag radials with a 4.10, it's a lie.

    I use my car as a daily driver too and I think this gear is just enough. Love it!!

    haha not fair i want 4.10's just not in my A4, ne one wanna trade a M6 for an A4? maybe a little $$ for the upgrade...?

    maybe so but it'd be nice to have 2 extra gears (and thats if you count my overdrive as a 4th gear) i'm thinkin i just might put 4.10's in my A4... who needs top end?

    If your transmission has to shift into OD before finishing the 1/4 mile...your ET will probably be lower than with 3.73s. Bigger isn't always better.
