it will fit in, yes. problem is, he doesn't specify what gear came off of it to determine if it is a 2 series carrier (which you need if you are keeping the 2.73 gears), or a 3 series carrier (if you are going to go to 3.08 or higher numerical gears, then it is the correct choice).

It looks like a 3 series carrier to me. I have my 2 series on the bench and it looks a little different then the one pictured. My looks like it has more space between the ring gear flange and the window in the diff where the springs are visible.

It can't work unless he gets a spacer for his 2.73 gear. It says in the descripion it's a 3 series carrier. Maybe he's going to get new gears.

yeah i am going to get new gears (3.42) i went to see the part , the ebay seller is actually located a few miles from my home. and he told me he can put it on for me when i get the gears for $250 . and if it doesnt fit he will refund me my money
