    who's running a wavetrac?

I want to hear from people who ACTUALY have one in their rear or who have at the very least driven a car that has one. how does it handle abuse? how is it with street driving?

    Wavetrac

My wavetrac seems to be very reliable. But I have found it was very expensive in cost to buy and install. If you are operating a 10 bolt, 7.5" rear end, there is a chance that you will have to make a decision on something just due to the age of your unit. The only other possible drawback to the wavetrac is the 35 spline axle needed, you get some of the characteristics of a truck drivetrain. But if you are running on the strip that should be a very reliable feel.
On the upside, you are now ready for naturally aspirated 600 hp engines or 800 hp forced induction engines and these engines are becoming very common.
For my 2 cts. wavetrac is not the best rear end to buy, but it is just looking ahead. Look at where you plan to go and how you want to drive.
