Your pinion angle should not be set to +3 degrees...this could be a big problem. Most are set-up at -2 degrees for drag racing applications. This could vary depending on the exact set-up, but it is the norm. So you're off by 5 degrees, which is A LOT. Launching the car with a pinion angle off like this could cause some serious drive train issues.

PS Egan - It's called a Wavetrac, not a Wavelock
I have it set at -3 on the pinion that's what umi said with the tq arm. I can deal with the banging of it locking in that doesn't bother me, what worries me is how hard it wasn't to pull when ur going straight..... It feels like to me that its not locking an putting the power all to 1 wheel an that's y its pulling. Its not just 1 way either its left an right... But thank u guys for the help!

Ahh, OK. You had me scared there

I really don't know too much about lockers and how they drive other than what I've read on here and over on Tech.

Seems to me that most people don't get a locker style that have to drive on the street a lot. Maybe it's because of this.

    Read this thread: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/gears-...er-street.html

    Seems normal.

So practices your launches somewhere where there isn't a wall

I hear ya though. The more you mod, the more problems you have. It's just the nature of the beast.

I have the Moser 9" Truetrac so mine feels the same as the 10-bolt. I do plan on making some hard launches with it on slicks though.

nah, you'll be alright dude I have M/T DR's on mine 315's and it goes. I mean it does pull to the left from launch. Even when I shift through the gears it still does it so.. I think it may be bc of the axels you know one of those shafts are longer then the other.

If your car is pulling to one side on launch a heavier sway bar will help with that.
