Then buy a 9" rearend. No matter what you do to the P.O.S. 10 bolt, Its still a P.O.S. 10 bolt. Do not waste your money trying to "Build up a 10 bolt" it is simply a waste of money and you should put your money towards a 9" rearend. Rule of thumb when it comes to the 10 bolt. "Upgrade, don't rebuild"
When you do Buy a 9", Depending on your HP, I would suggest 31 spline axles and a Detroit tru-track.
Myself, I went with 35 spline axles and a Detroit Locker and wouldn't have it any-other way.2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

I agree. Go with a 9" and the Tru-Trac. This is supposed to be the best combo for a duel-purpose car like ours.
I just ordered one from EPP. Service was great!
Good luck with your build.

I also bought a 9" from Bob at EPP - Great service and will tell you what you need for your set up.Differance betwwen a 31 and 35 spline is the number of spline count on the axle.Higher number being stronger.35 is what Bob said to get with the Detroit Locker for mine.Set up is a 402 stroker with 12 lbs from a Procharger.Best advice is ask Bob.

For a DD, 31 spline will be just fine. In fact, my ride is mostly track (I plan on running slicks) and I still only went with the 31 spline.
A Tru-Trac (your best limited slip option and the first to use the helical gear design) will suit your needs better for a DD IMHO. It has smoother operation. A locker is noisy and MAY produce undesireable results for you. If I remember, the pros & cons of lockers have been debated here before. Try running a search for additional info.
By the way, if you go with a Tru-Trac, your only option ina Moser 9" will be 31 spline.
