    What is my rear gear ratio?

    I have a 2000 Z28 M6 and I dont know what the gear ratio is for the real differential. I think it might be a 3.73 but not sure. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Jack the car up at the rear, turn the tires one full turn & count the number of turns the drive shaft makes. 3 1/4 turns = 3.23 3 & almost 1/2 = 3.43 3 3/4 = 3.73 little over 4 = 4.11 ect...

    No the autos were a bit different. They had 2.73's standard or optional 3.23's.
