What ET gains are 3.73 gears worth???

I currently have 3.23 gears in my car and I'm thinking of 3.73's. I don't drive much on the street. I use it mostly for drag racing. It's stock except for long tubes,ORY, cat back, lid, and drag radials. My best ET is 12.88 @ 108MPH. Does anyone have an idea what kind of ET gain I might see? The car is an automatic with a stock converter.

maybe .1 gain I'd think. So that would put you around 12.78ish. With a nice 3500 stall converter, that thing should run 12.5 to 12.6ish.

We run our A4 car with a 3,200 stall and 3.73's. I did the mods in stages so it went something like this:

Mostly stock with the factory 3.23's - 13.395

Upgraded suspension, track tires and 3.73's - 12.885

Added 3,200 stall and performance trans - 12.430
