    v6 springs in an ls1

someone on this site said that if you put v6 springs in an ls1 car it launches better b/c it helps transfer weight to the rear end, and that much I understand, but I want to know how much this affects handling and drivability. If I did this to a car would it not be street friendly?

Yes it's VERY street friendly. Unless your doing major road racing handling will be fine too.
It will greatly help you hook up on the holeshot. And they are cheap at the junkyard and quick 20 min. install. I've been doing this for 14 years and NEVER had it not help GREATLY.
PM me I'll send you a video clip of my car on drag radials.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
