    US Gear Strange?

Has anyone heard anything about the manufacturer "US Gear Strange"? I am going to purchase a set of gears and i want to know who the best brand is to buy them from. Who's the best in durability? Sound? Strength? Any input would help.

Yes, the brand is 'Strange' made by US Gear. Manufactured in Chicago, IL. One of the best, if not the best out there as far as strength and durability. Any brand will be noisy if not install properly. Even if they are installed properly they still may whine. I have Strange 3.73's in mine, there is a faint whine, but it is drowned out by the exhaust, radio, and/or having the windows down. It is hardly noticable. The little noise there is, is definately made up by the peformance you get out of them!

I'm thinking I'll be buying a Strange 9 inch in the future, however I'm tyring to figure out just how strong are the internals made by strange? Has anyone bought the housing and then upgraded the gears with some other brand?
