A transmission question LS1 with TH350

Ok guys I have a 1991 Nissan 240SX which is one hell of a project. IT has many hours of fabrication into it. I have a LS1 from a 2002 WS6 going into it, but due the the space limitation for a bellhousing I am using a TH350. Typically these arent pair together but if you have that setup what did you use to use the kickdown feature. The engine and trannsmission are going to be put in the new frame and body in two weeks and I want to order all the parts the shop will need before they do the swap.

Will a standard TH350 converter work? I had this tranny build about 3 years ago for a SB400 I have but I ended up using a 700R4. The tranny is built for power and I have a brand new B&M converter, but this was origionally for a cast Iron block.
