Traction Control Not Working?
My traction control isn't working. I hit the TCS button and it don't even light up. I've checked all fuses and the switch itself. Any other suggestions? Any common problems with the TCS?

Can't help you with your question since my T/A is new to me(about a month) But the TCS surprised me oneday when I hit it around a guy driving aimlessly and there was a curve. It sort of felt like it was pushing my foot back...

Meh, I dont' have TC and wouldn't have it any other way.
FBody TC is the stupidest system ever. Some of the newer/luxury/Import model TC systems are nice. My wife's Acura has electronic TC. It's nice. It pulls power from the engine (not your foot). All ours does is push the throttle closed. Be happy yours doesn't work, life is better that way.

nope, everything seems fine. . . the "TCS" lights up when headlights are on but the orangeish yellow "on" light doesn't light up . . if that makes sense.

Yes, there is a sensor on each side where the e-brake setup is. You'll have to get under the vehicle (cause they face inward), unclip the harness, remove the bolt, and they come out. They are magnetic so they shouldn't just fall out. My TCS took a shit for a while after I did a burnout. Just drove it for a while and within an hour it worked again.
When it rains, just drive slower and more carefully lol. I'm not a huge fan of the system these cars have, but I bought my car with it and I always drive with it off.

TCS along with second gear start makes my car at least drivable in the snow. But in rain I just turn it off because it makes the car do things that you are not expecting and reacts differently.
If mine didn't work i wouldn't really miss it but if your car is equipped with it I think you should look into getting it fixed just because it is there if you want it.

Screw TC. I dont have it and have had 0 problems in the rain. Just dont rip on it like you would on a nice day. accelerate slower and slow down on turns and you should be fine.

i had a prob with mine awhile back. start the car it would turn on/off. once you touch the gas it instantly turned off and you couldnt turn it back on. it turned out it was the motor thingy your throttle cables hook into. check your wheel sensors on the axles of your rearend. usually if its a system malfunction your light on the dash will just come on and your tcs switch wont work. sounds like you arent getting power to the system at all.
Also, ever swaped rears in your car. if you put a 3 channel rear in a 4 channel car your tcs will no longer work.
