I am the original owner of a 2001 Z28. i am very familiar w/ the "rocks in a can" driveshaft noise....not my problem though. About 3 years ago my car started making a whom whom whom whom whom sound underneath in the rear. The noise increases speed/sound w/acceleration and decreases speed/sound w/ decceleration. It has now gotten really bad...so bad that you can hear it clearly over the slp loudmouth ! HELP?

what suspension mods do u have? have you check the ujoints?

wheel bearings?

my father's volvo does that and we think its teh wheel bearings, but being youre posting in the drivetrain section, i may be totally off...
