If your clutch pedal is sinking to the floor it is not your synchros. It's probably either your slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder. I replaced my master cylinder with an 01/02 model and did the drill mod. I've never had an issue since. Can you shift with out the clutch and get it into all the gears ok? Does it go in fine once you get the pedal up?

Sounds to me like it is your master cylinder. So I take it they are going to bleed your system which may or may not help? I'm guessing since this was or should have been done when your slave was replaced that it's not the problem. I'd either do the drill mod on your current master cylinder or better yet get a new 01/02 model do the mod and install it. The entire process took me about 3hrs and cost me $150. I've never had a problem with my clutch pedal since then.

If you get a new one make sure the drill mod is done to it. You can do a search on it to see what it takes to do it. It's simple and really helps improve the flow of hydraulic fluid.

It's not with the drill mod but you may not need it. I installed my own so I went ahead and did it before I put it in. No break in period.
