strange s60

This is a discussion on strange s60 within the Drivetrain forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; would it be wise just to order or have a stronger one made, than to risk it with the stocker...

    I got the S60 w/ 3.73's and a tru track for my bird. Ordered a new drive shaft with it, because the original one will not fit. It was like 2600 or 2700 to the door. Everything bolts up good with the exception of the mounts for the sway bar. I had to modify that, not a real big deal though. I really like it. Oh... and it is a heavy bitch too, lol.

    im going the same rout as you make it ready for power befor i make it. i was looking at the same rear end a mr. lous has now and whant to know how much am i going to get out of it at the track et wise?

    rear ends arent ET increasers..the gears are but you buy a rear end to handle the power and bring the power to the floor..

    what size tires..m6 i assume ..what power are you making right now? also what gear are you in when you cross the line..and is it high or low in the gear.

    my car is mostly stock for now so i havint put any race tires on it yet im open for idea's and i cross the line in low to mid 4th now. and yes it is a m6. i want a rear end now befor i have to wory about it bracking later.

    thats why ima go ahead and do the rear end and suspension stuff first before i get into the engine
