Is the 12 bolt DTS rear end a trust worthy rear in comparison's??

Is a DTS 12 bolt a totally separate company than Moser 12 bolt??

I think DTS is just a company that sells products. I wasn't aware that they were manufacturing there own product. But shit a housing is a housing. I can't see any reason to run a 12 bolt versus a 9" though unless you are trying to be sneaky on a old school and you want people to look under the car and see a 12 bolt cover.

The benefits are soooooo vast on the 9". I have multiple 3rd members laying around with different ratios. It takes me 25 min. to change ratios with some air. . . . . . . .
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Thanks for clearing that up. So in theory, With my 12 bolt housing, later on down the road if I blow my rear.... could I fit 9 inch internals in there?? I am so not savvy on rear ends. Thanks.

Nope. Completely different. The 9" uses a "third member" or "center section", meaning the entire ring and pinion come out from the front of the differential instead of the rear. It is extremely durable and makes gear ratio swaps very easy, because you can just swap center sections instead of setting up the gears like you would in a regular differential.
