    Stall

    im looking to purchase a stall in the near future. what brand would give me the best bang for my buck and what size stall should i go for if the car is my daily driver?

    Before I got my TCI and went to 3400 I used a Yank 3000 and it was very nice. As far as daily driving you could tell there was a stall but it was a very efficient converter so the car would still move without having to truely rev to 3K rpm but at the track you really could tell the difference. Yank are not cheap though. I am just trying the TCI as I have heard they are good but besides going to a higher stall there was no bad reason for me taking out the Yank. Make sure though to get a trans cooler if you put a higer stall in there!!! Fuddle has also made some good impressions.
