shifter parts problem

I have a hurst shifter in my car now and the bushing that snaps on the bottom of the shifter that goes in the trans keeps coming loose and falls off making the shifter in a bind and not shift right. i call hurst and they said that you have to use the factory piece to put on the shifter so I go to the dealership and see if I can order the part and they only show the whole factory assembly to buy and I am not going to spend 300.00 for a factory shifter to get a little bushing to fix my hurst shifter. I have looked online everywhere and can't find the part anywhere. Any help or guidence to point me in the right direction for somewhere to order one or if someone on here has one I would greatly appreciate it and would gladly pay them. Thanks

Once and a while you will find a factory hurst for sale on here. Just keep looking in the for sale section. Or make a post in the wanted section.

He's talking about the bushing cup that sits in the internal shift rail.

You need to glue the cup in place or it will continue to work itself out.
For replacements try a Ford Dealer because the T56 was used in the `03-04 Cobra and IIRC they sell the ball cup seperately. Also the cup is the same for T5's and T45's aswell.
I got mine from a local trans shop out of parts that they had laying around.
