    Royal Purple question

    I just bought this for my M6 car. I guess I should have asked first, but just making sure for the last time before I put this in my car that this is the right stuff. thanks

    yes. i have it in my 2000 z28 auto , running 12.9 @109 no problems.

    this fluid is compatable with all posi units and is a 75 90 weight whick is a little lighter than regular gear oil but works great, this slightly thinner oil helps dissapate heat and reduces drag.. good stuff i also use 10w 30 in my engine

    Actually it's not. Not supposed to use syn if you have the Auburn diff. Personally I'd use regular dino 80/90. I tried Redline in my old 10 bolt years ago and started getting one wheel peels.

    This is probably a stupid question lol, but how do I know if I have the Auburn diff. ?

    Incorrect information, Aubern recommends not using synthetic oil in their posi units, and the THICKER the oil, the larger the molicules, which disapates heat quicker. I use 85W-140 dino oil.
