Rebuilt Transmission problems

I have a 94 LT1 Firebird with an automatic 4L60e tranny, recently had it rebuilt with a TCI rebuild kit with shift kit, the guy also put a 7500 rpm shaft in it. Now that ive put it back in the car when i have it in drive i have to rev it up like im taking off in second, and at 55 im running 3000 rpm, if i manually shift it starting out in first its fine, then when i shift to 2nd nothing changes, it acts like its still in 1st, then 3rd is fine it acts normal, then into drive nothing changes it acts like its stuck in 3rd.... extremely confusing but the guy that built it now says i need a ratchet shifter with adjustable linkage....what do you guys think? im also running a stock stall. ok 1st gotta stay away from t c i . . . . 2nd something isn't right, either in the valve body but something isn't right. . .



DO NOT GET A POS ratchet shifter that is the stupidest bs reasoning i have ever heard. . . If you get a shifter get a cheetah scs, no junk ratcheting pos. . . but the shifter isn't the problem
