    Rearend Fluid & Stuff Question

Just have some a quick questions : My rear pinion seal is leaking a little and was thinking of fixing this spring I bought some Royal Purple rear gear fluid and was wondering if I will need to add some of the GM additive to this aswell ?

Also I was going to change to rearend girdle at the same time to either the SLP/AAM cover or the T/A Performance cover , is there any difference between the too ?

    Thanks .

I believe the Royal Purple already has the additive in it, no need to add the GM additive.
