Question rear noise when I turned

I have a growl when I left turns without accelerate. Noise come from the rear.

    If I accelerates: no noise
If I turned at right: no noise

    an idea ?

Excuse me for my English, I'm French

if the rear is making a howling noise, yeah its bout to go.

    1. check a make sure you have full fluid (pinion seals leak on these cars, not worth fixing)
    2. check your u-joints
    3. pull the pumpkin cover check magnet for metal shavings, inspect gears and backlash
    3. if the rearend goes, its usually the spider gears in the carrier that crap out.

to fix it, replace the posi carrier, but clean out the axle housing extremely well to make sure no metal debris is still in there.

or best bet is buy a 12 bolt or 9inch

my factory 10 bolt has always howled and made a clicking noise when I turn left. Its still going and has lasted 70xxx miles, with many tracks passes with over 400rwhp M6.

I just got lucky that it never blew up. most people dont.
