Rear end noise
2000 Trans Am A4 Completely Stock 3.23 70,000 miles
I'm getting a light roaring noise from the rear of the car. When I have my foot on the gas there is no noise, but if I take my foot off and let the vehicle coast it starts. I can put in neutral and the noise goes away. Does this sound like a Pinion Bearing. If so am I looking at a complete rebuild on the rear.
Oh yeah, the people that had it before me took it to GM and they said the noise was in all F-Body's . I've been in 3 and this is the only one with this noise.
Thanks

Fixed.
Pinion Nut came loose. Went ahead and replaced all bearings. Kinda sucks dropping $400.00 on a car you've had for 2 weeks. Guess the shocks will have to wait a little.
