    1999 camaro m6

    rear end noise

    so my buddy has a 2000 ws6 m6 and while driving down the highway there is a slight wheel bearing like noise hard to tell from where and when lifting it in the air and running though the gears with a stethoscope i cannot pinpoint the noise i do not hear anything from the axle bearings or pinion bearing but the drive shaft seems to be making like something inside it and its about a foot away front the diff u joint side has anyone else had this id have to put a driveshaft in and not be it

    Hard to tell from what you described. Could be the u-joint drying out and starting to sing.
