Black- 1992 Camaro B4C
rear end noise.
Hello, I have just recently purchased a 02 Camaro B4C. It was in service by Florida Highway patrol I drove the car from Chicago to Kansas with no issues other than from around 0-30 mph I can here a whining sound from the rear end. When I get up faster the exhaust kind of drowns it out. However around 65-70 mph I let off the accelerator I came hear the sound go away. Engage the gas again and the sound comes back. It almost sounds like a steering pump whine but from the read end. Ive read a lot of post on here but it sounds like it could be a multitude of things. Any thought and or opinions are welcome.

Being it is a B4C and a 92' I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it likely has high miles and the 10-bolt rear is reaching the end of it's life.
