Just gear whine, don't worry about it.

Crank the music, burn the tires, and slam some gears.

if you have a whine only coasting, then your ring gear is worn on the coast side of it's gear teeth. You may be able to fix it by adjusting your ring gear backlash, if not you will need a new ring and pinion gear set. Or you could just live with it until it takes a shit on you.

A little gear whine does not mean your rear end is gonna "take a shit" on you.

Gear whine happens. Usually due to improper backlash. The car may last another 100,000, may not. Unless it becomes too loud to ignore don't worry about it. Some gear sets whine some don't.

as said, crank the tunes and burn the tires.
