31 spline axles, better diff/locker/spool, T/A Support cover, back brace, and hardened gears. Do all this and it will still break.

Any money spent on trying to make a 7.5" 10 bolt stronger is a waste. I tried. In the end, I ended up breaking 3 sets of gears - snapped the teeth off of them. You'll spend just as much on building the 10 bolt to try and handle the power, as you would on upgrading to a 12 bolt or 9". And you'll still risk breaking it.

Even with an A4 if you're cutting 1.5 sixties it's on borrwed time. I see used 12 bolts/9 inches for sale from time to time. Keep your eye out.

There was a 12 bolt by me for 1500 bucks was a three channel and everything which I needed. I would of loved to pick it up but even 15oo was more than I can handel right now and my car is prety much stock. Just keep your eyes open you can find some good deals with a little luck.
