I heard is possible. Is not cheap but. You can do that.
I have questions bout that too.
I dnt think is more expensive than buyin an aftermarket rear end that cost $3000 or more and is not even ready to bolt it on.00 ss blk m6 " STOCK" strano springs, slp bilstein shocks, adj LCA, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, 2 point SFCs welded,OEM zo6 rims black, magnaflow exhaust, CME exhaust,E/cutout, slp grille, custom front plate mount, HIDs, whistler mod, side moldings delete, slp air lid, ported and polished TB, strut tower brace, 3.73s gears, and some other parts to list!

I'd buy one that's bolt in ready- too much to try to fabricate yourself (including getting the width and axle lengths right) unless you're a fabricator by trade.2000 Pontiac Firehawk #0041 of 742

You'd need a torque arm/control arm mounts on it. Better off buying a bolt in direct fit like he^^ said.
