Dont throw any money at fixing that POS 10-bolt. Get a Moser or Strange 12 bolt or 9 inch and you wont ever have to worry about your rear-end.

it made slight noises once and a while .... i just hit 80,000 on the clock , i probly did one burn out , but other then that , i dident abuse the thing ... it blew when i was turning a corner at about 20 mph ... i found a guy over by Sac who has a stock 10 bolt for 490 . so tomaro morning im just going to drive out thier , i would LOVE to but a 12 bolt , but i do not have the money , i just dumped 1400 on exuast and tires, so im going to have to go with another crappy stockie

what ever you do do not waste your money on the pathetic 10 bolt. Rule of thumb is upgrade don't rebuild. Get a new 9".
2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

ya, the SS's have aluminum drive shafts. How much did you guys spend on your 12 bolts? I'm really worried that my rear might go out and I wont have enough to buy a better rear end. I don't want to be stuck in blind's position. I'm an upgrader more than a replacer.
