    Pinion seal.

I'm a cheap bastard and having leaking not weeping pinion. I'm looking for a quick yet detailed step by step process. Is all a really need is a torque wrench? Should I replace the crush seals too or will they be able to be reused.

Anyone pay to have theirs done? My rear will be out of the car this weekend so if its cheap I could probably just drop it off somewhere.

    Thanks!

Changing a pinion seal is about $25, at a shop that really knows wth theyre doing, not some shop with a parts changer and a air gun.

Had a leaky pinion seal on my 99 T/A. Decided to take it to a local shop and go thru the rear end. Found out it needed more than just a seal. Ring and pinion gears need to be set up properly to ensure trouble free operation. Unless you a familiar with installing them and have all the proper tools, might be worth taking somewhere.
