Overdrive vs. no Overdrive
I drive a A4 2001 Camaro Z28. My drivetrain is stock and my mods are: SLP Lid and Cold Air Kit. What gives the better acceleration to 0-60mph and 1/4 Mile with or no Overdrive. My car has 1,2 and D and D in a Box, the D in the Box is with Overdrive. I drive always in D with the Box.
Everyone knows the performance difference between A4 and M6 ?
Thanks for the help!
Nice greets from switzerland

Acceleration will be the same. Only thing is that it will not shift into 4th gear at wide open throttle. Not much performance different in the a4 and m6. Just driveability. The m6 will get you better miles to the gallon. When racing its better to just keep it in 3rd though.

OD is just a fancy way of saying 4th gear and D is 3rd gear.........auto vs man auto should most times have an advantage from a dead stop at a light...easier to get the reaction time down...6 speed should definitly have the advantage from a roll......more gears and steeper
