Need in on LT1 to Muncie 20 4-speed tranny swap
Hello, Im new to the forum.... Im putting a 95 LT1 into a 47 jeep willys.
The jeep had a sbc 350, muncie M20, and a dana 18. (Blown motor)
Ive notice the Crank/Flywheel bolt pattern is different between the older 350's and the newer ones (LT1).
Ive searched and searched.... novak adapters, advanced ect ect... havent found anything about adapters or flywheel clutch kits.
Ive bought a 153T LT1 Flywheel, but it is about 2" thick (just crazy) If my old 350's flywheel bolted up to the new LT1, i'd be good to go, but it doesnt.
So i need help/info on what flywheel/clutch/T.O. bearing assemblies i need to use. THANKS
We have a 66-70 M20 muncie 4speed tranny (pretty rare compared to m21 m22) 10 spline shaft.
The main shaft is 5 1/2 inches long with 2 grooves in it (m21 m22 have 1 groove.)

In 86 gm changed to a one piece rear main seal on the sbc. That changed the cranks slightly. Could be why you see a difference. Not sure if the lt1 is the same as the post 86 blocks. Maybe a flywheel for an 86+ block would work. You could try rockland standard gear. They have many swap parts.
