NEED HELP...rear end paddle question
I rebuilt my 10-bolt with a take-off differential from SLP. The take-offs were taken off of the Z28s and Trans Ams/Formulas, so it's basically just a "stock" 4th gen differential.
My question is how the "paddle" shoudl be installed into the differential. Please see the following pictures:
In this one, the "notch" is towards the top of the rear end...
And, in this one, the "notch" is towards the bottom of the rear end.
Anyone know which is right? I've gotten plenty of "I think..." or "maybe...", so if you happen to have a definite answer, please let me know!
Thanks a lot for the help,
