    is it my transmission mount?

I haven't had my car check because I haven't had anytime, but I was wondering if my transmission mount is out. when I'm at mid rpm on any gear, and I accelerate hard, I can feel and hear a thump coming from under the car. It also happens when I'm taking off on first gear and the car boaghs down. Have any of you guys gone through this?

It is possibly your exhaust hitting on the floor pan of your vehicle. Do you have long tube headers with an ORY? And if I'm not mistaken, I do belive it can trigger your knock sensors.....? I could be completely full of shit though...

i had a problem like that. i replaced my tanny cross member and mount with a prothane mount. no more problem. it ended up being that my tarnny cross member was cracked. good luck

pull your mount out first to make sure its not just that. do you notice any shifter movment? mine used to pop up a little bit when it was broken. where is the sound coming form. could also be the u-joint check that out as well
