In my experience, most of the guys running Richmond gears have a substantial amount of gear whine (whether that is related to faulty install, break in, etc. is debatable). My Motives have a little bit of gear whine, however the general concensus seems to be that the Motives are typically a bit quieter. I've never heard a car with 4.10 GM gears, so I can't really speak to that, however others claim that they are very quiet gears. At the end of the day, you will likely have a small bit of gear whine, but you won't mind it because of the distinct performance advantage they produce. In a M6, you should spend a LOT of time in the sweet spot of the powerband. Now slap a cam in that bad boy to further expand the higher end of that powerband!2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
