    Moser 9" Vent Tube

There is a vent port on the top of my Moser 9". It is about a 1/4" in diameter and has a rubber hose coming out of it. It seems to be leaking fluid out of it...like a few drops a day. This seems weird and abnormal...anyone know what is going on here.

FYI, car has been sitting for a few months due to lack of engine.

Hmm, well if the vent hose is facing down then any gear lude residew(sp) could slowly make it's way down the tube and drip.
I'd stick a covered breather in the hose and secure it an upwards possition.. IMHO

I ran mine approx. 2 feet towards the front of the car. I made sure to trap the vent hose before running towards the front. Hasn't leaked yet.

How long should the hose be? Can I just put a tiny breather filer on the hole on the rear and let it be?

Only needs to be as long as it takes to get it away from gravity letting it drip.

A punkin' breather right in the hole with work too. Just don't plug it or your wheel seals wont like it..
