Monster Transmissions batting 0 for 2

So it's the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and no one on and monster has 2 strikes against them now.

So in my search to find someone who could build a 4L60E for a 97 Lt1 car that could hold 500hp I originally set out to buy a Preformabuilt level 2. I got side tracked by the Idea that if I could just find someone local that built these transmissions on a regular basis I could always take the car to them if I ever had problems.

Enter Monster transmissions (EATMYSHIFT.COM) located in a town only about an hour and a half away. I order my mega monster with a torqueconverter last friday and it arived on wednesday. Right away I noticed that it had the wrong tailhousing on it and called them went round and round untill they realized thier mistake and shipped out the correct one. I reciced the tail today and bolted it on. Now I will say I just don't have any luck when ordering parts. I proceed to swap everything over from my old trans to the new one. I then relize the shifter shaft on the new trans is about 3 inches longer than on my other trans. I would like to tell you that lightning never strikes the same spot twice but.... I'd be lieing!!! Went throught putting the trans under the car and getting 2 bolts started and tightened. I then took the shifter cable and held it up and realized that lightning had just struck again. Of course it is now the weekend and no one will be at the phones at Monster untill monday so the age old dance of man V's machine rages on into the dark night again. For anyone who actually read this entire post... you must be very board!!!! LOL because I know I am as I sit around with nothing to do waiting for monster to open monday.
    Thanks for reading

according to the conversion an 11.2-11.4 but my mile per hour is a little higher than they say it should be so i think it might be a little faster

now that is done on 5500 plus da bring it to sea level and it is a easy 10 second run
