    manually shifting an auto

when I drive around, I get bored, so I find myself upshifting my car manually, and its fun.

I rarely downshift manually, because it doesnt feel very good. I dont know if my trans like it.

so, is it okay to manually shift your car if you just cruising around, and not doin much? when its time to race,I stick it in 3, and let er eat.

    FUCKING PURPLE
    its an 02-ish something

if you wanna shift something buy a manual and learn how to drive it, other then that, your prolly gonna mess something up, let the car do its thing on its own. Or else you could potentially have serious tranny problems later down the road

Yeah, better off staying away from Mustang retards anyway. They won't teach you anything good as they can barely handle normal residential driving.

Manual upshifting will slow you down.
Won't hurt anything (aside from mileage) to do it.

    DO NOT downshift an auto.
