    manual to auto conversion

    just got some bad news, my 6spd is toast. rebuild 1600-2200, jasper 2200-2500, gm 10 million. so, how can i convert this to the 4l60e? do I need a new computer or just reprogram? any info would be greatly appreciated.

    you would need a computer to control the auto, I'm pretty sure. That is the thing that makes it harder to go from M6 to A4 than from A4 to M6. It's been done, of course. Best to find a car in a junkyard, or someone wanting to switch from A4 to M6.

    thanks. I am on the hunt now, but what I'm finding that parts go quick and arent cheap but I'm gonna just keep looking. thanks for the response.
